He is one of the most loved actors on TV now. Nkanyiso Makhanya successfully plays the role of Njeza on Uzalo so well that he has gained many fans. Below are more interesting facts about him below.

1. Nkanyiso Makhanya grew up in Kwazulu Natal Province.

2. Makhanya studied towards a degree in Communication Sciences at the University of Zululand.

3. He started off as an intern at 1KZN TV. There he got to do almost everything in production including camera work, voice-overs, research, directing and pre-production.

4. Working behind the scenes has really helped Makhanya to learn more about the entertainment industry before joining the industry, as a Craz-e presenter.

5. In 2018 he managed to get a role in the popular drama playing the role of Nkululeko a troubled orphan that also must take care of his two siblings.

6. Just like on the Uzalo character, Makhanya also looks out for his family. He had to get a job at the age of 13 just to help where he could at home.
