‘Uyajola 99’ host Jub Jub has indeed

been fired:

Moja Love has finally confirmed that they did fire Jub Jub from duties as the Uyajola 9/9 host.

This is where this gets interesting for me: according to City Press, a senior source at Moja Love revealed that the rapper — whose real name is Molemo Maarohanye — was fired as host of the cheating show two weeks ago via a letter for actions done outside the show. I have never understood how television jobs get associated with outside activities. This is like getting fired from your accounting job because you were fined for noise making at your residential complex.

Interestingly, they didn’t want to fire him at first but gave him the option of apologizing to the woman who was organizing the Moruleng event with him when they withheld his salary last month.

So the woman in question is the musician’s business partner, Keabetswe Mokoena. She accused Jub Jub of verbal abuse, harassment, emotional stress, and “substantial harm to her professional reputation and business” last year December. She also accused Jub Jub of trying to benefit from a community project they worked on.
